Whimsical designs with artisanal craftsmanship by ..... Loop the Loop, Ltd
A skating coach by day...a knitter and a sewer by night. My mother taught me how to knit and my grandmother taught me how to sew. I have always loved to do both. I have taken knitting and sewing classes throughout my life. I knit and sew for my family and I knit and sew for my house.
My professional knitting and sewing career began when I knitted warm-up shrugs for my skaters and ponchos for their Moms. They were such a big hit at the ice rink that I began to sell them at skating competitions. When my daughter got married, I knitted purses for bridesmaids. I took leftover fabric from my daughter 's bridal gown and made a bridal purse for her as a momento. I knitted purses for hostess gifts. Thus began my purse designing career. I now sell my purses at fiber shows and art to wear shows. My purses can also be found in specialty boutiques around the country. My original Tote Bag is being featured in the July issue of "Lucky". Many of my purses are one-of-a-kind. All are unique.
